First experiments on Ultimatum Game on networks

First experiments on Ultimatum Game on networks

I have a new paper out presenting the results of what, to my knowledge, are the first experiments on Ultimatum games on networks, resulting from a very nice and enjoyable collaboration with Boyu Zhang and Wenxu Wang at Beijing Normal University.  We find that status equality, i.e., the fact that players play in the two roles of responder and proposer, promotes rational sharing while the influence of structure leads to fairer offers compared to well-mixed populations. This is in stark contrast with predictions of simulation models, some of us proposed by teams including myself. The paper can be found here: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-018-19503-x
